About Me

Bullhead City, Arizona, United States
I am a 50 yr young disabled woman with many chronic painful physical afflictions & a illness. I am married to a wonderful man with 2 adult children. I grew up in & out of church. One of my Uncles is a recently retired Pastor . I have been saved since 1996. I love serving the Lord & fellow-shipping with my church family,family/friends! I started this blog because I was inspired and encouraged by a couple of friends blogs and felt the Lord prompting me to start a blog page after our Women's Retreat in August 2009 to use the gift of encouragement he has given me to journal what he is doing in my life and to pass on to others articles that encourage me and help me in my walk with the Lord. My prayer is that you will feel the love of Jesus and that you will be inspired and encouraged by my post. I'm just a servant Girl and a Broken Vessel called to be a Heiress of Light for the Lord. The things I post will be from my heart and things that speak to my heart. Sometimes I will just journal about Life,Family etc. My prayer is that my blog will be a source of encouragement to all my friends, family members and followers. http://heiressoflight.blogspot.com/

THIS IS GOOD!

Have you ever had a day where you were running late, because of circumstances beyond your control and you kept getting impatient, frustrated or angry because you hate to be late and as if running late wasn't bad enough every car in your path was driving too slow, or the cashier was taking too long to ring you up, the line was to long or your kids weren't cooperating? Maybe you were suppose to go on a trip or be at a event/concert etc and you were so filled with anger because you couldn't go.  I have, and because of those times I am thankful because often times there has been a car accident, a robbery, a shooting etc at the time I was suppose to be in that particular place. How about something bad happening to you or someone you know? Sometimes our biggest blessings come out of the worst things or circumstances but we don't realize at the time that God is still with us and he is still in control or that he can take the bad things and turn them into good. Today I wanted to pass on a e-mail I received from my Cousin (Carol) to encourage you if you are experiencing something bad and can't possibly understand how any good could come from it. As I reflect on some of the worst times and experiences in my life,  I see how those bad things turned out for good. It took many years and alot of pain to see it and some of it I still don't understand, but I have accepted there are some things this side of  Heaven we will never fully understand and when we get to Heaven it will be as if it never happened.  If there is one thing  I  know  for sure, it is that God is always in control, and that he is always there for us and will never leave us or forsake us.  Trust him, know him, seek him and you will see. ( by  Heiress of The Light)

Daily Promises
Blue Letter Bible
2Corinthians 4:16-18
Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

Our struggles, our battles, our daily toiling against the forces of this present darkness are naught compared with the marvellous riches and captivating glory to which we are called and in which we will soon partake. What matter our suffering? What matter our failures? What matter any measure of suffering when held against the surpassing beauty and permanence of our heavenly hope!

 THIS IS GOOD!

The story is told of a king who had a close friend with whom he grew up.
The friend had a habit of looking at every situation that ever occurred in
his life (positive or negative) and remarking, "This is good!"

One day the king and his friend were on a hunting expedition. The friend
would load and prepare the guns for the king. In preparing one of the guns,
the friend had apparently done something wrong, for after taking the gun
from his friend, the king fired it and his thumb was blown off.

Examining the situation the friend remarked as usual, "This is good!" To
which the king replied, "No, this is NOT good!" and proceeded to send his
friend to jail.

About a year later, the king was hunting in a dangerous area. Cannibals
captured him and took him to their village. They tied his hands, stacked
some wood, set up a stake and bound him to it. As they approached to set
fire to the wood, they noticed that the king was missing a thumb. Being
superstitious, they never ate anyone that was less than whole. So after
untying the king, they sent him on his way.

As he returned home, he was reminded of the event that had taken his thumb
and felt remorse for his treatment of his friend. He went immediately to
the jail to speak with his friend. You were right," he said, "it was good
that my thumb was blown off." And he proceeded to tell the friend all that
had just happened. "And so I am very sorry for sending you to jail for so
long. It was bad for me to do this."

"No," his friend replied, "This is good!"

"What do you mean, 'This is good'? How could it be good that I sent my
friend to jail for a year?"

"If I had NOT been in jail, I would have been with you."

Situations may not always seem pleasant while we are in them, but the
promise of God is clear. If we love him and live our lives according to his
precepts, even that which seems to be bleak and hopeless will be turned by
God for His glory and our benefit. Hold on...God is faithful!

THE CROWN I WEAR

The Crown that I wear does not tarnish;
It's not made of worldly ores. I don't need to polish and store it in a vault or behind metal doors. The Crown is a gift from my Father whose Son died so that I could be free. What a honor it is just to wear it, For His last thoughts on Earth were of me. The Crown has speacial meaning; It's not about worldly success. It stands for the Love of My Lord and Saviour,Which I wear every day like a Princess.
