Todays(9/26/10) Word of Encouragement

These sufferings of ours are for your benefit.
And the more of you who are won to Christ,
the more there are to thank him for his great
kindness, and the more the Lord is glorified.
That is why we never give up. Though our
bodies are dying, our inner strength in the
Lord is growing every day. These troubles and
sufferings of ours are, after all, quite small and
won't last very long. Yet this short time of distress
will result in God's richest blessing upon us forever
and ever! (2Corinthians 4:15-17 TLB



END OF THE ROPE

Are you at the end of your rope,
Struggling with strife and pain?
Do you feel you can't hang on?
For whatever you might gain?

Do your sufferings overshadow
Everything that is good?
You'll find that at the end of the rope,
God provides all that is good.

Are you at the end of your rope?
With a load you cannot bear?
No matter how hard you struggle or try,
Does anybody seem to care?

Do you beg for strength to hold on,
When your being aches with pain?
You'll find that at the end of the rope
God is waiting, once again.

There at the end of your rope,
You'll see God's work is best.
There you can learn His answers for life,
While letting Him work out the rest.

If your goals and dreams are changing,
Your heart and mind renewed,
Youv'e found that at the end of the rope
God lovingly cares for you.
